Life in Darkness builds capacity upstream of crisis. It does not provide clinical diagnosis, treatment, or crisis response. People in acute crisis are routed to 988 and to licensed providers.
Where programming is supported by federal financial assistance: participation in any explicitly religious activity is voluntary and is never a condition of receiving services. Religious activities are separated in time or location from federally supported program activity. No one is discriminated against on the basis of religion or refusal to participate in a religious practice.
